Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the JBNSTS Junior scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
● They should have passed their Class 10 (Madhyamik/মাধ্যমিক) or equivalent exam in 2022, securing a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.
● Candidates must be currently enrolled in Class 11 in the science stream in any school in West Bengal.
● They must have chosen at least three subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, and Computer Science.
To be eligible for the JBNSTS Senior scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
● To be eligible for the JBNSTS Senior scholarship, candidates must have either passed or appeared in the Class 12 exam in 2023.
● Additionally, they must be studying Basic Sciences degrees as part of an Undergraduate Programme (UG) in West Bengal to qualify for the scholarship.
● Candidates are required to continue their UG studies in West Bengal starting from the current academic year itself.
