Formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi Technological University (DTU) was established in 1941. DTU Delhi is accredited by the NAAC with an 'A' grade and NBA and is also approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and AICTE. DTU College is ranked 61 under the Overall category by NIRF 2023, 40 under the University category by NIRF 2023, and 29 under the Engineering category by NIRF 2023. The university is ISO-certified and earlier was affiliated with the University of Delhi.
